Restarted PC after each uninstall and reinstall. We tried various methods like installing in compatibility mode for Windows 8 and Windows 7 (with admin rights) as recommended by Windows troubleshooter. We scan using this app and now it is missing. I checked in start button and unlike in windows 10, there was no HP Scan App. we use USB cable to communicate with printer, the scan icon disappeared.
